Jennifer Dombrowski Does Winter In Switzerland And Carnevale In Venice

Jdombs-Travels-Venice-Carnevale-2Skiing in Gstaad isn’t just for the rich and famous. Correspondent Jennifer Dombrowski tells Paul and Elizabeth how she and husband Tim stayed at a three star hotel just outside of Gstaad and enjoyed a fabulous few days of affordable winter sports. She also offers suggestions for enjoying Carnevale in Venice affordably. You can even rent costumes but she points out that many Americans come dressed in their Halloween costumes. We also talk about the carnevale in Viareggio where the floats and costumes take on a more contemporary feeling with some of the floats towering several stories above the crowds. Artists Gilbert Lebigre and Corinne Roger who build some of the award winning floats have judged the the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
