The Lancaster London Hotel Is A Honey Of A Hotel

We couldn’t resist mentioning the honey. You see the Lancaster London Hotel is adjacent to the Lancaster Gate tube station on the Central Line and has sweeping views out over Hyde Park. It’s a great hotel by any standard but when it comes to bee-keeping the Lancaster London is home to a thriving colony of bees. They get their nectar from the flowers of Hyde Park and the many gardens nearby and while the hotel does use the honey in the kitchens the greater purpose in keeping bees on the roof is to help preserve the British honeybee. Paul chats with the resident bee keeper. For Elizabeth bees aren’t the only reason for staying at the hotel. It’s only a short walk from Hyde Park Stables.
